The Annual Members Banquet is Saturday, May 29th - reception at 6, dinner at 7 in the Friuli Hall, 7065 Islington Av., Woodbridge. Members in good standing : $45.pp Non-Members : $65. - bar inclusive. Please call the Famèe at 905-851-1166 to make a reservation. 2010 WORLD CUP The "Beautiful Game" at the Famèe Furlane Toronto, Friday, June 11 through to Sunday, July 11. All games start at 2:30 pm. (unless otherwise noted). Large format video screens...family, friends and sports fanatics welcome! Event food and beverage menu available.
Father's Day and the World Cup
On Father's Day, the Famèe will be hold a special Father's Day Buffet. Bring out your father to watch Italy play and then enjoy the buffet. Date: Sunday, June 20th - Cost $30. pp (inclusive of taxes, beverages extra). The Games: Italy vs. New Zealand - 10 a.m. kickoff and Brazil vs. Ivory Coast a- 2:30 p.m. kickoff. Reservations required for this event.
Feste Dal Popul
The Famee Furlane Toronto will be hosting the Feste Dal Popul which commemorates the founding of Friuli as an independent state back in the 11th century. Events for the evening wil commence with the honouring of this year's "Bon Furlan", then followed by dinner follow.
Thursday is Gnocchi Night
Now who doesn't enjoy a good plate a gnocchi! Well, starting Thursday April 1st and every Thursday there after, you can at the Al Fogolâr Ristorante for the special price of $25. For this price, you will be served salad, Gnocchi and a Crème Brûlée. A variety of 6 different sauces will be available for you to choose from, including meat sauce, light tomato with basil, pheasant, Genovese pesto, creamy four cheeses and wild mushroom. Bocce Night Cancelled
Sorry to say, we have had to cancel the Bocce night scheduled for April 9th, we hope to revisit this sometime in late summer, early fall.
To end the evening, 
by popular demand, the group held another Cooking Class with Gianni Ceschia on January 22nd. There were some new faces, and some old, but one thing was certain, a good time was had by all.
