FORUM NEWSLETTER
The deadline for the next edition of the newsletter will be Feb 4th, 2010. For this edition the social group
will be submitting pictures of the 2nd Annual Wine Pairing event held Friday, November 27, 2009.

Cooking Class with Gianni Ceschia –Culinary Studio 2000

- Appetizer
- Frico
- Grapes with Pistacchio Crust
- Mushroom caps
- Barley Soup with Artichokes
- Boneless Pork Shank in a Gremolata Pesto Sauce served with Polenta and Vegetables
- Roasted Monk fish with black olives wrapped in pancetta
- Dessert
- Cornmeal cake with raisins and grappa
Liquor license will be purchased by Sandra at the LCBO. Donata will be advertising this event and all
those interested in partaking in the event are to respond to the e-mail. The social group would prefer if
payment were made in cash at the night of the dinner. No refunds after the cut-off date of January 18,
Famee Furlane dinner at Al Fogolar restaurant

The Social Group is planning a get together at the Famee. Donata will be advertising this event in
February. All those interested will respond to the e-mail. The dinner is a set menu or if one prefers they
can order off the main menu. Cost is $35 refreshments,taxes and gratuity not included. Time TBA.
Bocce Tournament
At this time the bocce tournament has been post-poned for a later month.

Dolomite Ski Club

All those interested in partaking in the annual downhill and cross country skiing event to Blue Mountain
must confirm their spot on the bus by February,24th. Minimum of 40 people. This event is followed by
a pasta dinner at the Famee Furlane (COMPLIMENTARY TO PAID MEMBERS). For information or

Discussion
- A letter was received from the Famee Furlane thanking the social group for their contribution towardsthe Babbo Natale gift.
- A cheque was mailed out to Primus to keep our domain name (fameefurlanesocialgroup.com) active.The contract was renewed for 5 years at a cost of $141.75 and it will expire on December 19, 2014.
- Marylane Marchese through advertisement at the Famee was able to sell additional T-shirts. 2 old styleT-shirts, 1 ladies golf shirt and 1 new style T-shirt. 6 stickers of the Friuli emblem were also sold.
