Welcome to the Famee Furlane Social Group, a new circle of friends! We are not a youth group and we are not a singles club. We are adults of all ages, with adult responsibilities. Some of us are members of the Famee Furlane and some of us are not. Certainly, most of us have a common Furlan background but what binds us together is our common vision and common goal of bringing a new generation of people into the Club and creating new possibilities for our building and the great spirit which still lies within its walls. The Famee Furlane has a tremendous history and great traditions which we are all close to because we have parents, grandparents and great grandparents who helped build those traditions here in Toronto. We should not allow that history and tradition to fade away. It is a great challenge and our Social Group wants to take it on through new ideas, new activities, community involvement, charity and passion. Our events are a fun get together as well as a way to promote the club and hopefully get more people involved in our group as well as the Famee Furlane in general. This Club is a family and a place for us our parents and grand-parents to call a second home. It begins with getting involved:

• Attend our meetings and become part of the group. There is no membership, simply come to listen or participate in our discussions.
• Give us event suggestions and attend those events that we put on. We are all new to this and hope to have new input.
• Help us evolve our group and the Famee Furlane in order to make it a viable and progressive part of the community well into the 21st Century.
